Ok, by now you already heard the news. He’s going to the Heat. You mad?

I’m not

I mena how can you blame him? He gave that organization SEVEN years to put players around him and what did they offer him up? A washed up Shaq and a mediocre Antawn Jamison. Other than that, nothing. How long did they expect him to stay when it was obvious that he wasn’t going to win with the group that he had. And it wasn’t like he wasnt vocal about it, he voiced his opinion over and over again. He wanted a championship. Can they really be mad that he left? No. Are they appreciative for what he’s done for them? No.

The man single-handedly made Cleveland interesting, who cared before then? They weren’t even relevant before he arrived. Shit, I’ll be honest, I didn’t even know Cleveland HAD a basketball team before LeBron. And what do they do to show their appreciation? This

Burning his got damn jersey

I honestly lost A LOT of respect for Cleveland fans after that. It’s ok to be upset (don’t get me wrong) but don’t burn a man’s jersey. Thats like burning his entire legacy, because he doesn’t want to lose anymore? Cleveland. THIS IS YOUR OWN DOING. It’s a business and he wants to win Championships. Is that really that far fetched? I am sorely disappointed in Cleveland’s fanbase but you know who I’m MORE disappointed in?

Cavaliers Majority Owner Dan Gilbert. He had this to say of his former franchise player.

Dear Cleveland, All Of Northeast Ohio and Cleveland Cavaliers Supporters Wherever You May Be Tonight;

As you now know, our former hero, who grew up in the very region that he deserted this evening, is no longer a Cleveland Cavalier.

This was announced with a several day, narcissistic, self-promotional build-up culminating with a national TV special of his “decision” unlike anything ever “witnessed” in the history of sports and probably the history of entertainment.

Clearly, this is bitterly disappointing to all of us.

The good news is that the ownership team and the rest of the hard-working, loyal, and driven staff over here at your hometown Cavaliers have not betrayed you nor NEVER will betray you.

There is so much more to tell you about the events of the recent past and our more than exciting future. Over the next several days and weeks, we will be communicating much of that to you.

You simply don’t deserve this kind of cowardly betrayal.

You have given so much and deserve so much more.

In the meantime, I want to make one statement to you tonight:

You can take it to the bank.

If you thought we were motivated before tonight to bring the hardware to Cleveland, I can tell you that this shameful display of selfishness and betrayal by one of our very own has shifted our “motivation” to previously unknown and previously never experienced levels.

Some people think they should go to heaven but NOT have to die to get there.

Sorry, but that’s simply not how it works.

This shocking act of disloyalty from our home grown “chosen one” sends the exact opposite lesson of what we would want our children to learn. And “who” we would want them to grow-up to become.

But the good news is that this heartless and callous action can only serve as the antidote to the so-called “curse” on Cleveland, Ohio.

The self-declared former “King” will be taking the “curse” with him down south. And until he does “right” by Cleveland and Ohio, James (and the town where he plays) will unfortunately own this dreaded spell and bad karma.

Just watch.

Sleep well, Cleveland.

Tomorrow is a new and much brighter day….

I PROMISE you that our energy, focus, capital, knowledge and experience will be directed at one thing and one thing only:

DELIVERING YOU the championship you have long deserved and is long overdue….

Dan Gilbert
Majority Owner
Cleveland Cavaliers

Not only is that not Classy nor professional but its down right despicable. Your a grown man who can’t accept another grown man’s decision? What happened to “Congratulations, it was a pleasure playing with you”? Is that too much to ask for the player that saved your franchise from the brink of oblivion and raised millions of dollars in revenue for you?

Shit is disgusting.

All in all, I believe LeBron handled this great. He didn’t show too much emotion when they showed the clip of his jersey being burned nor did he speak any ill words about the city of Cleveland. Cleveland fans should be disappointed in themselves as well as Ms. Gilbert up there. Everyone in the state of Ohio that contributed to this fuckery should be utterly ashamed of themselves.

Cleveland owned LeBron’s CONTRACT not his soul so if he wanted to leave  they should have shown their appreciation for this sports star. Do you really believe that just because he was born there, he can’t leave?

Stop it now.
